Freelance design

Working with small local businesses and startups has always been an important part of what I do. Every client has a unique set of goals and challenges. This allows me to learn and adapt to a diverse landscape while maintaining consistency in every client’s vision.

Fine Grind Filters

Fine Grind Filters is a solo powerhouse entrepreneur offering hand made reusable coffee and tea filters as a sustainable alternative to disposable paper filters.

I was approached to develop a simple and clean retail package that would be displayed with other goods at cafes and boutique shops. I pitched, prototyped, and refined the packaging and design which led to a second line of mailer packages as the business expanded into online sales across the country.

Nova Coffee

Easily my most involved project to date! This endeavour was wrangling a huge product and services catalog into both print and online formats to serve as both a beautiful industry guide as well as highlighting all the products a cafe would ever need to get started

My key roles for this project were layout design, print formatting, data entry, copywriting, and both studio and on-location photography.

Audora Audio

The founder of a small but mighty sound design startup came to me to build a brand identity from a totally clean slate presented my first opportunity in free-reign creativity for this type of work. I developed standard logos, wordmark, brand guide, support asset guidelines, content templates, and a customized mobile-friendly e-commerce site for the purchase of digital products through various platforms.

Logo design

When I’m not taking on larger scale branding projects, I enjoy small one-off jobs like logo design. It’s a great excercise taking the client’s many big ideas and condensing them into a single point of focus.
