Licensed under Disney, this item is a DIY bracelet making set featuring 4 iconic Disney princesses as feature charms. To help make the product stand out amongst other licensed items, the structure and supporting artwork of the packaging was to be a castle with windows into rooms showing the included princess charms.
The packaging setup is fairly straight forward – a main packing box, thermoformed PET blister, poly bags of crafting components, metal charms, and instruction booklets. Holding the packaging shut is a vertical sleeve which hold all of the legal retail info, saving the main box for more castle themed artwork without things like barcodes, distribution info. This allows the castle box to be retained as a collectable.
The vertical sleeve reinforces the structure as well, ensuring the components are not tampered with while in retail shelf.
The final look is very eye-catching and playfully commands attention when next to traditional packaging structures.
